Yakima County Fire District 5 serves the unincorporated communities of White Swan, Brownstown, Harrah, Gamache, Parker, Wapato, Sawyer, Buena, Toppenish, Zillah, Granger, Outlook, Sunnyside, Grandview, Mabton, and Satus from 15 fire stations.

To become a volunteer firefighter with Yakima County Fire District #5 you must:

• Have a Washington State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Live within the boundaries of the fire district.
• Be able to pass a background screening investigation.
• Be able to perform the duties listed within the job description.
